Akin Gump oil and gas partner Steven Otillar, who works in the firm’s Houston office, has been nominated to serve as president-elect of the Association of International Petroleum Negotiators. Following one year in this new role, Otillar will then serve one year as president of the organization.
For more than two decades, Otillar has been representing clients in the development, finance, acquisition and divestiture of both domestic and international energy projects totaling billions of dollars.
