Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld holds the highest spot among Texas firms on The American Lawyer’s latest report ranking large U.S. firms by their commitment to pro bono work. Akin Gump also led the rankings among Texas firms for its international pro bono efforts in 2015.

Akin Gump is ranked 30th among 151 U.S. firms on the Am Law 200 for U.S. pro bono. Its lawyers devoted an average of 84.3 hours to pro bono matters in 2015, with 58.1 percent of the firm’s lawyers spending more than 20 hours on pro bono work during the year. The firm ranked 34th in The American Lawyer’s prior survey.
