After nearly two decades with a nonlawyer managing the firm, Dallas-based trial firm McKool Smith appointed Dallas principal David Sochia as managing principal, succeeding executive director Gary Eden.
“Historically, Gary has been our CEO and now he’s retiring and now I’m stepping into that role,” said Sochia, who joined McKool Smith in 2000 and said his responsibilities in his new role include operations of the firm as well as strategy.
