With the University of Houston suing Houston College of Law over its new name, the United States Patent and Trademark Office has suspended the law school’s trademark application for its Houston College of Law logo.
On Sept. 8, the University of Houston Board of Regents notified the Houston federal judge overseeing its lawsuit against Houston College of Law, formerly South Texas College of Law, that the USPTO suspended the trademark application because of the litigation.
