After 13 years practicing in New York, M&A wunderkind Doug Bacon has come home to Houston. He joined Kirkland & Ellis’ office in his hometown city as a corporate partner on Oct. 24.
Bacon makes the move to Kirkland from the New York office of Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer, where he was a partner. Before that he was an associate at Simpson Thacher & Bartlett.
