With the election of Republican Donald Trump ending a divisive political season, leaders of Texas firms began to assess how the change in administration will affect their business and the Texas legal market.
The managing partners of a number of Texas firms said a Trump presidency will certainly mean more work for firms in areas such as health care, energy, tax and infrastructure, based on Trump’s campaign rhetoric. “Anytime there is a fundamental change in the leadership of the country, it typically leads to more legal work,” said Phil Appenzeller, CEO of Munsch Hardt Kopf & Harr of Dallas.
