A former Texas state employee who sued Baker Botts and a partner in Houston, alleging he was fired after the firm gave his employer a “confidential email” he had sent to the firm, has settled the lawsuit for a monetary payment from the defendants.
On Nov. 14, plaintiffs Kent Langerlan and his girlfriend Audra Benoit, both former employees of the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ), filed a notice of nonsuit in the petition they filed against Baker Botts and Matthew Kuryla, a partner in Houston.
