Latham & Watkins is advising Dallas-based Energy Transfer Partners LP (ETP) in its pending merger with Newtown Square, Pennsylvania-based Sunoco Logistics Partners LP (SXL), which turned to outside counsel at Vinson & Elkins. The deal is valued at about $21 billion.
