. . . Donald J. DeGabrielle, former U.S. attorney for the Southern District of Texas, has joined Lewis Brisbois as a partner in its Houston office. He will chair the firm’s national white-collar criminal defense and government investigations practice.
. . . Brian Minyard has been promoted to senior counsel in the Houston office of Simpson Thacher & Bartlett. Minyard concentrates his practice on representing capital providers and borrowers in structuring, negotiating and documenting structured finance transactions, with an emphasis on oil and gas credit facilities. Jason Hwang has been promoted to counsel with the firm in Houston. Hwang is in the firm’s banking and credit practice and often focuses on the energy sector.
