All hat and no — real — cattle allegations led to a $23.1 million verdict in a Jack County, Texas, courtroom earlier this month — a victory for a Nebraska-based cattle-brokering company represented by a team led by Christopher Trowbridge, a partner in Bell Nunnally’s Dallas office.

“We had to prove a conspiracy through circumstantial evidence,” Trowbridge said about the challenges he faced representing Midwestern Cattle Marketing against family members, including parents who own Lyon Farms in Perrin, Texas.
