Gross revenue at Houston-based Bracewell declined 6.6 percent in 2016—a development the firm’s managing partner attributes to “natural attrition” at the firm.

For 2016, gross revenue at Bracewell was $277 million, compared with $296.5 million in 2015. But net income was $87.5 million, up 1.7 percent when compared with $86 million in 2015.
