For the third time since its creation in 1939, the State Bar of Texas has certified a petition candidate for the president-elect race.
David E. Chamberlain, co-chair of the State Bar’s Elections and Nominations Committee, notified Austin solo practitioner Joe Longley in a Feb. 28 email that he had achieved the requisite number of petition signatures to be placed on this year’s ballot.
