Bill Jones, former general counsel to Texas Gov. Rick Perry, has joined Barnes & Thornburg in Dallas and Washington, D.C., as a partner in the government services and finance department.
Jones said he will spend at least half of his time in Washington, D.C., and the rest in Texas. Jones, who had been a solo practitioner in Austin for the last several years, said he will maintain his base office in Austin but also work in Dallas.
