Julie Pettit, founder and managing partner of The Pettit Law Firm in Dallas, has received the 2017 Outstanding Young Lawyer Award from the Dallas Association of Young Lawyers. She is a civil trial lawyer whose practice focuses on real estate and litigation within the financial services industry.
Mark Lanier, founder of The Lanier Law Firm headquartered in Houston, has been inducted into the National Trial Lawyers Association’s Trial Lawyer Hall of Fame. Although attorneys previously honored had to be 60 or older, that requirement was waived for the 56-year-old Lanier.
