A federal judge in Houston awarded $1 in damages to a former high school student who in 1999 sought the right to pray over a public address system before home football games. A settlement on April 24 averted a trial in a personal-injury suit filed by a Dallas woman who alleged faulty design of a personal watercraft led to injuries she received in a 1999 accident involving a Bombardier 1999 GTI Sea Doo.
