Allen v. State

Appellant argues that evidence of the theft of a purse and the use and sale of a stolen cell phone in Houston established flight. While this evidence may have reinforced the state's proof that appellant fled after the shooting, it is insignificant compared to the evidence that appellant never returned to his home or his job, abandoned his car in Louisiana, and was apprehended in Virginia.
