On May 26 and June 30, the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission found theboard-certified labor and employment lawyer and his office in violation of Title VII ofthe Civil Rights Act of 1964 and the Age Discrimination in Employment Act of 1967 fordenying former assistant general counsel Susan Septimus, 51, a promotion, subjecting herto a hostile, abusive work environment and retaliating against her after she complained.
