The state Supreme Court has requested an investigation into the disclosure of an order that was issued as part of the stayed proceedings involving state Attorney General Kathleen Kane's alleged leak of grand jury secrets.

Recently unsealed documents in the case show the state Supreme Court has called on the state Office of Disciplinary Counsel to investigate the disclosure of a previously sealed court order.

Kane is currently facing possible charges including perjury, false swearing, official oppression and obstruction over grand jury secrets she allegedly disclosed to the media. Kane has challenged the authority of the special prosecutor who investigated the alleged leak, and the Supreme Court's order referring the conduct to the ODC was issued as part of an order in those proceedings.
