The Montgomery County district attorney has said she will review the information gathered by a special prosecutor who investigated whether Attorney General Kathleen Kane leaked confidential grand-jury information.

On Tuesday, the state Supreme Court denied Kane's efforts to invalidate the investigation that had resulted in a grand jury recommending the attorney general face charges stemming from the alleged leaks. That grand jury presentment had been handed up to Montgomery County District Attorney Risa Vetri Ferman late last year, but a stay was placed on the proceedings pending the Supreme Court's review.

Ferman said Wednesday in a statement that she will review the “voluminous information” that was gathered by the grand jury.
