Attorneys in the Tylenol multidistrict litigation discussed Wednesday whether confidential documents should remain out of the public eye and which state's law should govern the first case in the MDL.
The status conference before U.S. District Judge Lawrence F. Stengel of the Eastern District of Pennsylvania touched on a variety of topics that would affect the handling of the first case in the litigation, Terry v. McNeil.
A wrongful-death case, Terry is one of 192 lawsuits in the MDL alleging Tylenol caused liver damage or failure.
