As a patent dispute between drone makers heads toward trial to determine damages next week, the federal judge handling the case has preserved the question of future damages for the jury.

As a patent dispute between drone makers heads toward trial to determine damages next week, the federal judge handling the case has preserved the question of future damages for the jury.
The defendant in the case, French drone-maker Parrot, had asked the court to take the question of future damages off of the verdict form.
Drone Technologies had brought the suit alleging that Parrot had infringed on two of its patents and won a default judgment last November.
