Houston-based energy law firm Burleson LLP has laid off six attorneys in its Pittsburgh office, including the location’s managing partner.

According to Richard L. Burleson, managing partner of the firm, Pittsburgh managing partner Kevin Colosimo and five associates who did oil and gas title work were laid off and given severance packages. Two paralegals were also laid off. Burleson said the decision resulted from a decline in work volume.
