Robert J. Casey Jr. and Alexander B. Giacobetti, co-chairs of the Philadelphia Bar Association's state civil litigation section, announced the section's annual award is now named in honor of former Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas President Judge Alex Bonavitacola.
The first recipient of the newly named award is Peter Divon, director of the court's Dispute Resolution Center and its Discovery Court.
The award is set to be presented to Divon at the section's holiday party Dec. 2 at Estia in Philadelphia.
