A former Bucks County adoption attorney was charged by federal authorities with accepting new attorney fees and failing to return unused client money after he was disbarred, the Philadelphia U.S. Attorney's Office announced April 6.

Steven G. Dubin, 64, of Warminster, was charged with three counts of wire fraud and faces a maximum sentence of 60 years in prison and a $750,000 fine if convicted on all counts.

Dubin allegedly did not tell clients that he submitted his resignation and would soon be disbarred.
