Despite having only one month to finish reviewing 148,000 documents, indicted Philadelphia District Attorney Seth Williams' lawyer said he'll be prepared to defend his client at the May 31 trial.
The government also said it will be ready.
In a letter to presiding U.S. District Judge Paul S. Diamond of the Eastern District of Pennsylvania on April 28, defense lawyer Thomas F. Burke reported that he was on pace for trial readiness, and that the government had steadily provided him with thousands of discovery documents since April 12.

The case, filed Oct. 2 in Massachusetts District Court by the Brown Law Firm on behalf of Stephen Austen, accuses certain officers and directors of misleading investors in regard to Symbotic's potential for margin growth by failing to disclose that the company was not equipped to timely deploy its systems or manage expenses through project delays.
