Auditor General Posts Expenses

State Auditor General Eugene DePasquale released his department's expenses online—and encouraged other government entities, including the General Assembly—to follow suit.

The department's expense disclosures include Fiscal Year 2016-17 spend for employee health care, information technology, pensions, salaries, travel, workers' compensation and other operational costs and DePasquale's individual traveling expense.

From July 2016 to April 2017, the department spent over $25 million for salaries, $7 million total on pensions, over $4 million on employee health care and $661,862 was spent on “other operational” expenses, according to the department's provided chart.
