A Big Law veteran from Greenberg Traurig is joining Conshohocken-based Royer Cooper Cohen Braunfeld, hoping to capitalize on what he described as more flexible billing policies at the smaller firm.

Royer Cooper announced Tuesday that David Gitlin had joined as partner in its corporate and business group. The growing firm also announced that it hired two associates in its Philadelphia office.

Gitlin had been a partner at Greenberg Traurig in Philadelphia for five years, and at Blank Rome for three years before that. Much of his career—nearly three decades—was spent at WolfBlock, where he was chair of the corporate and securities practice.
