A former Hershey Co. employee who claims she was denied transfer away from her ex-boyfriend and supervisor in an attempt to force her to resign can move forward with her lawsuit against the candymaker.

U.S. District Judge John E. Jones III of the Middle District of Pennsylvania dismissed Maryann Misiolek's claims regarding her transfer denials, but denied Hershey's request to toss her entire lawsuit.

Misiolek argued that she was fired for expensing dinner and hotel bills for a business trip she took with her ex-boyfriend, who was also her supervisor, but alleged that Hershey doesn't fire male employees for doing the same thing.
