Barley Snyder partner Salvatore Anastasi was recognized by the American Bar Association intellectual property law section for his leadership in the section.
As the vice chair of the ABA’s patent system planning committee, Anastasi in 2016 helped write letters to the U.S. Department of Commerce, later meeting with the leadership of the department, to express the section’s concerns over a proposed shared services initiative from the department and its potentially adverse effects on stakeholders in the U.S. Patent System.
