The First Judicial District has set July 20 as the date its Board of Judges is expected to vote on who will serve as district attorney for Philadelphia to fill the unexpired term of former District Attorney Seth Williams.

The announcement comes one week after Williams pleaded guilty to a bribery charge, resigned and was taken into federal custody. First Assistant District Attorney Kathleen Martin has been leading the office in Williams' absence.

As part of its announcement Thursday, the court also outlined the process for applying for the position, and released a questionnaire qualified applicants must fill out to be considered.
