Criminal defense attorney Brian McMonagle no longer wants to represent Bill Cosby, whose sexual assault retrial is only three months away.

McMonagle filed a motion to withdraw as counsel Tuesday in the Montgomery County Court of Common Pleas. Cosby's retrial has been set for Nov. 6, but Cosby has not yet retained another lawyer, the motion said, and wants until Aug. 21 to find one.

In an email Tuesday afternoon, Cosby spokesman Andrew Wyatt said Angela Agrusa, a partner at Liner LLP, remains in place on Cosby's legal team. Agrusa, of California, was admitted pro hac vice in the fall of 2016.
