After taking a collective pay cut in 2015, the highest paid general counsel among Pennsylvania’s public companies saw their compensation back on the upswing in 2016.

In 2015, total cash compensation—salary, bonus and nonequity incentive plan compensation—dropped 8.6 percent from 2014 to an average of $704,000. But in 2016, that number was up 16.3 percent, to $818,444.
