Elected and Appointed Greenblatt, Pierce, Funt & Flores attorney Bella Schnall was elected to partnership. Schnall is director of the firm's family law division. She has over 30 years' experience in the area of family law/domestic relations. Schnall handles a wide range of matters including divorce, child support and child custody cases as well as drafting of pre- and post-nuptial agreements. She practices in state court in Philadelphia, Montgomery and Bucks counties. A trained collaborative divorce attorney, Schnall served as a co-president of Collaborative Law Professionals of Southeastern Pennsylvania, formally Collaborative Family Law Affiliates, for two years. She attained a J.D. from the University of Pennsylvania Law School in 1976.
Speakers Stradley Ronon Stevens & Young counsel Jana M. Landon presented at the Women's International Network of Utility Professionals conference on Sept. 26 in Philadelphia. Landon presented a safety briefing, focusing on data privacy and security when traveling. Landon is co-chair of the firm's cyber insurance and data breach response groups. Her practice focuses on advising lawyers and clients on data security and data management issues and legal, technical and strategic issues regarding information governance. She also represents clients in complex insurance coverage matters.

Joe Khan, an attorney at Spector Gadon & Rosen, a former prosecutor and recent candidate for Philadelphia district attorney, was a speaker at the National Homicide Justice Alliance Inc. for the National Day of Remembrance. That day pays tribute and honors the nation's murder victims and their surviving family members. Khan maintains a diverse practice that encompasses both civil litigation and white-collar and regulatory compliance. Khan joined Spector Gadon as of counsel after a career as a local and federal prosecutor in Philadelphia.
Additions Linell M. Lukesh joined Reger Rizzo & Darnall as a partner in the Philadelphia office. Lukesh concentrates her practice in the areas of general commercial and utility litigation, as well as corporate and special education law. Throughout her more than 20-year career, Lukesh has defended clients in a wide range of matters in Pennsylvania and New Jersey state courts, and has represented clients before the Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission. Lukesh has also served as solicitor for the West Wyoming Borough Council in northeastern Pennsylvania. For more than 20 years she has provided legal representation and guidance, including assisting the borough in qualifying for the Pennsylvania Early Intervention Program, and representing the borough in land use and zoning matters, collective bargaining unit matters, securing unfunded debt and tax anticipation notes, advising on employment matters, preparing municipal liens and bid packages and advising the borough under Act 111 and Act 195 for police and public works department matters.

The case, filed Oct. 2 in Massachusetts District Court by the Brown Law Firm on behalf of Stephen Austen, accuses certain officers and directors of misleading investors in regard to Symbotic's potential for margin growth by failing to disclose that the company was not equipped to timely deploy its systems or manage expenses through project delays. The case, assigned to U.S. District Judge Nathaniel M. Gorton, is 1:24-cv-12522, Austen v. Cohen et al.

The action, filed Oct. 7 in New York Southern District Court by the Brown Law Firm, accuses the company's directors and/or officers of falsely expressing confidence in the company’s restructuring of its sales incentive plan and downplaying the severity of decreases in its upfront commitments. The complaint was filed Sept. 4 in Connecticut District Court by attorney Robert M. Berke on behalf of former employee George Edward Steins, who was arrested and charged with employing an unregistered home improvement salesperson. The complaint alleges that had Sunrun informed the Connecticut Department of Consumer Protection that the plaintiff's employment had ended in 2017 and that he no longer held Sunrun's home improvement contractor license, he would not have been hit with charges, which were dismissed in May 2024.
