Barley Snyder hired Daniel G. McCarthy as an associate in its business practice group.
McCarthy will be working primarily out of the firm's Reading office.
He received both his law degree and undergraduate degree from Temple University.
McCarthy is returning to Barley Snyder after working in the firm's summer associate program in 2016.
The hiring of McCarthy brings the total number of attorneys at Barley Snyder to 81.

Volpe and Koenig added Ankit Aggarwal to its firm.
Aggarwal is based at the firm's Philadelphia headquarters.
Aggarwal focuses on developing patent prosecution and portfolio optimization strategies for clients in the software, communications, semiconductor, content conversation and information analysis fields.
Before joining Volpe and Koenig he was senior IP and corporate counsel at a marketing technology development conglomerate where he oversaw IP product development, monetization and clearance projects.
He earned his law degree from the University of Maryland School of Law.

David Ira Rosenbaum, a partner in Rawle & Henderson's Philadelphia office, was selected as a member of the board of directors of the Philadelphia Boys Choir & Chorale.
The Philadelphia Boys Choir & Chorale provides musical education for young men in the Philadelphia area and was established in the 1960s.
Rosenbaum is the chair of Rawle & Henderson's commercial litigation and commercial transactions sections.
As a litigator, Rosenbaum represents corporate clients in a wide variety of complex commercial matters.
He also has a products liability and personal injury defense practice.

The case, filed Oct. 2 in Massachusetts District Court by the Brown Law Firm on behalf of Stephen Austen, accuses certain officers and directors of misleading investors in regard to Symbotic's potential for margin growth by failing to disclose that the company was not equipped to timely deploy its systems or manage expenses through project delays. The case, assigned to U.S. District Judge Nathaniel M. Gorton, is 1:24-cv-12522, Austen v. Cohen et al.
