  • On Oct. 24, the 4Q Pro Bono Luncheon will be held at 12:30 p.m. This year, in connection with the ABA National Celebration of Pro Bono—held Oct. 22 through Oct. 28— PAP will be partnering with the Support Center for Child Advocates (SCCA) on their new Young Friends of Child Advocates Project. At the luncheon, the Philadelphia Association of Paralegals will be collecting personal care items for male and female clients to support SCCA in their mission to reach new generations and the ever-growing needs of the agency. If you are interested in participating, bring one new personal hygiene item to donate to this project. The 2017 Pro Bono award will also be presented at the event. The pro bono committee would like to extend a special thank you to Michael J.   • On Nov. 8, at 12:30 p.m. join PAP to learn about the Revised Uniform Law on Notarial Acts which goes into effect on Oct. 26. The event is hosted by Cozen O'Connor, 1650 Market St., 28th Floor, Susquehanna C conference room. The speaker will be Marc Aronson of the Pennsylvania Association of Notaries.
