Vigderman was a panelist on the program “Conflicts In and Around the Orphans' Court—A View From the Bench and From the Trenches.”
Vigderman spoke on the estate planning side, in which the panel explored potential conflicts as representing both spouses in a marriage, representation of family members in family business succession planning and representing more than one generation of a family in estate planning.
Vigderman is co-chair of the business department of Montgomery McCracken and chair of the firm's trusts and estates practice.

Stradley Ronon Stevens & Young partner Catherine M. Ward served as moderator at the sixth annual Future of South Jersey Conference on Oct. 19.
Ward's panel, titled, “South Jersey Real Estate Market, Business Climate and More!,” assessed the state of the market and key trends and issues ahead for the next 12 months.
Ward is co-chair of Stradley Ronon's environmental practice group and a member of the energy practice group.
Her practice involves helping clients understand issues that are at the intersection of science and law.
Her focus is on simplifying complex issues and multidisciplinary projects into workable components, and then creating the necessary framework to accomplish her clients' goals.

Capehart & Scatchard added associate Ian Piasecki to its Mount Laurel, New Jersey, office.
Piasecki joined the firm's workers' compensation department.
He will represent insurance carriers and employers in the defense of workers' compensation claims at all stages of litigation.
Piasecki received his law degree from Rutgers Law School—Camden.
Upon law school graduation, he worked as a law clerk to New Jersey Superior Court Judge Gary D. Wodlinger.
He is admitted to practice law in New Jersey and Pennsylvania.

Lydia A. Gorba joined Strassburger McKenna Gutnick & Gefsky as an associate.
Gorba works primarily in the areas of civil litigation, personal injury, municipal law and education law.
She started her legal career at Strassburger McKenna in the summer of 2016 as a law clerk.
Gorba was later asked to join the firm as an associate after graduation.
While at Strassburger McKenna, Gorba has had exposure to a variety of practice areas, with an increased emphasis in the areas of litigation and municipal law.
Gorba is a 2017 graduate of the University of Pittsburgh School of Law. •

The case, filed Oct. 2 in Massachusetts District Court by the Brown Law Firm on behalf of Stephen Austen, accuses certain officers and directors of misleading investors in regard to Symbotic's potential for margin growth by failing to disclose that the company was not equipped to timely deploy its systems or manage expenses through project delays. The case, assigned to U.S. District Judge Nathaniel M. Gorton, is 1:24-cv-12522, Austen v. Cohen et al.
