Meyer, Unkovic & Scott appointed partner Antoinette Oliver co-chair of the firm's associates committee.
Oliver joins partner Christopher P. Smith Jr. as leaders of the committee charged with the overall professional development of the firm's associates.
Oliver is a member of Meyer Unkovic's business litigation, insurance coverage litigation, employment law and employee benefits and intellectual property groups.
Her business litigation practice involves representing clients in commercial disputes in both state and federal court, as well as in arbitration proceedings.

William J. Zee, chair of Barley Snyder's education practice group, was named to the board of directors of the Lancaster Education Foundation.
Zee will serve on the governance committee of the nonprofit organization.
A former public school teacher and university administrator, Zee represents public and private schools, intermediate units and higher education institutions in his practice.

Brian J. Kahle was appointed a shareholder of Tucker Arensberg.
Kahle counsels families and closely held business owners on a variety of legal issues.
He represents closely held businesses from startup through successful exit, and counsels families in estate planning and estate and trust administration.
His business advisory services include entity selection and formation, contract review and drafting, governance and compliance issues, tax and business succession planning.
Additionally, Kahle has experience representing businesses in merger, acquisition and fundamental change transactions, as well as with respect to captive insurance and alternative risk solutions.

Pittsburgh family law firm Pollock Begg Komar Glasser & Vertz added two divorce attorneys, Lindsay A. Nemit and Kelsey M. Ward, to its roster.
Nemit began her legal career as an associate attorney at Greg Castelli & Associates before joining Pollock Begg.
Ward earned her law degree from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law where she'd previously participated in the University of Pittsburgh Family Law Clinic.

Grace M. Deon received the 2017 Humanitarian Award from the Ted Lindeman Outreach Foundation for her philanthropic contributions to various Bucks County nonprofit organizations over the past 30 years.
Deon is a shareholder and member of Eastburn and Gray's management committee.

Marshall Dennehey Warner Coleman & Goggin relocated its Pittsburgh office from the U.S. Steel Tower building to the revitalized and renovated Union Trust Building, right down the street.
The new office address is Union Trust Building, 501 Grant St., Suite 700, Pittsburgh, 15219.
All telephone and fax numbers remain the same.
Marshall Dennehey first opened the Pittsburgh office in 1993.
Today, the office is the firm's third largest of 20, following its Philadelphia headquarters and Mount Laurel, New Jersey, locations.

The case, filed Oct. 2 in Massachusetts District Court by the Brown Law Firm on behalf of Stephen Austen, accuses certain officers and directors of misleading investors in regard to Symbotic's potential for margin growth by failing to disclose that the company was not equipped to timely deploy its systems or manage expenses through project delays. The case, assigned to U.S. District Judge Nathaniel M. Gorton, is 1:24-cv-12522, Austen v. Cohen et al.

Edmund Polubinski and Marie Killmond of Davis Polk & Wardwell have entered appearances for data platform software development company MongoDB and other defendants in a pending shareholder derivative lawsuit. The action, filed Oct. 7 in New York Southern District Court by the Brown Law Firm, accuses the company's directors and/or officers of falsely expressing confidence in the company’s restructuring of its sales incentive plan and downplaying the severity of decreases in its upfront commitments. The case is 1:24-cv-07594, Roy v. Ittycheria et al.

The suit was filed Sept. 7 in Wisconsin Western District Court by Levine Eisberner LLC and Siri & Glimstad on behalf of a project manager who claims that he was wrongfully terminated after applying for a religious exemption to the defendant's COVID-19 vaccine mandate. The case, assigned to U.S. Magistrate Judge Anita Marie Boor, is 3:24-cv-00630, Secker, Nathan v. Epic Systems Corporation.

David X. Sullivan, Thomas J. Finn and Gregory A. Hall from McCarter & English have entered appearances for Sunrun Installation Services in a pending civil rights lawsuit. The complaint was filed Sept. 4 in Connecticut District Court by attorney Robert M. Berke on behalf of former employee George Edward Steins, who was arrested and charged with employing an unregistered home improvement salesperson. The complaint alleges that had Sunrun informed the Connecticut Department of Consumer Protection that the plaintiff's employment had ended in 2017 and that he no longer held Sunrun's home improvement contractor license, he would not have been hit with charges, which were dismissed in May 2024. The case, assigned to U.S. District Judge Jeffrey A. Meyer, is 3:24-cv-01423, Steins v. Sunrun, Inc. et al.
