McNees Wallace & Nurick member Donna L. Kreiser received the sixth annual Leading Woman Award from Ladies First: The Mid-Atlantic Women's Public Finance Forum during its annual meeting held Nov. 2 in Philadelphia.
The Leading Woman Award was presented to her for lifetime achievement in public finance and for promoting the advancement of other women in the profession.
Kreiser is co-chair of the financial services and public finance groups and also practices in the public sector group.
She serves on the management committee of the firm and is member-in-charge of the Lancaster office.
Kreiser focuses her practice on municipal and project finance law, including economic development, transportation, government, health care and education.

Robert A. Stewart is a partner and member of the trusts and estates practice group.
Stewart brings 30-plus years of experience in the trusts and estates practice area as well as business succession planning expertise.
Chimdi Ginsburg Tuffs is an associate and member of the trial and insurance defense practice group.
Tuffs focuses her practice in civil litigation, representing insureds, employers and third-party administrators throughout Pennsylvania.
Benjamin W.R. Hauser is an associate and a member of the employment and labor law, school law and municipal practice groups.
Prior to joining Hill Wallack, Hauser served as a judicial law clerk for Bucks County Court of Common Pleas Judge C. Theodore Fritsch Jr.
Jill M. Fein is an associate and a member of the creditors' rights/bankruptcy practice group.
Fein concentrates her practice in all areas of creditors' rights, including foreclosures, landlord-
tenant matters and ejectments, as well as other property-related litigation.

The case, filed Oct. 2 in Massachusetts District Court by the Brown Law Firm on behalf of Stephen Austen, accuses certain officers and directors of misleading investors in regard to Symbotic's potential for margin growth by failing to disclose that the company was not equipped to timely deploy its systems or manage expenses through project delays. The case, assigned to U.S. District Judge Nathaniel M. Gorton, is 1:24-cv-12522, Austen v. Cohen et al.

The complaint was filed Sept. 4 in Connecticut District Court by attorney Robert M. Berke on behalf of former employee George Edward Steins, who was arrested and charged with employing an unregistered home improvement salesperson. The complaint alleges that had Sunrun informed the Connecticut Department of Consumer Protection that the plaintiff's employment had ended in 2017 and that he no longer held Sunrun's home improvement contractor license, he would not have been hit with charges, which were dismissed in May 2024.
