Antheil Maslow & MacMinn partner Joanne Murray was honored by the Bucks County Herald and the Bucks County Bar Association in their “Lawyers Among Us” partnership.

Murray was the recipient of the “Wonder Woman” award for demonstrating leadership in the advancement of women.

Murray practices in the firm's business and finance group, focusing on helping small business owners achieve their goals.

Graham R. Bickel joined Hamburg, Rubin, Mullin, Maxwell & Lupin's real estate group.

Bickel's practice focuses on representing businesses, land owners and developers in zoning and land use proceedings.

Prior to joining the firm, Bickel served as a judicial clerk to New Jersey Superior Court Appellate Division Judge Susan Reisner.

While in law school, Bickel served as a judicial extern to U.S. District Judge Richard Andrews of the District of Delaware and as a research assistant to the Pennsylvania Commission on Sentencing.

Elected and Appointed

Roberta Liebenberg was appointed by the president of the American Bar Association to serve as co-chair of the ABA's Presidential Initiative on Achieving Long-Term Careers for Women in Law.

It held a national summit at Harvard Law School that examined the reasons for the disproportionately high rate of ­attrition of senior women lawyers from the ­profession and formulated best practices to ensure their retention.

Liebenberg is a partner at Fine, Kaplan and Black and focuses her practice on antitrust litigation, class actions and white-collar criminal matters.

David N. Hofstein, a shareholder in Hofstein Weiner & Meyer, began his two-year term as president of the national foundation of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers.
Designated as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit ­organization, the foundation advances one of the AAML's goals—to protect children and families.

It does this through providing financial grants to eligible organizations throughout the United States, whose goal is to help families, particularly children adversely affected by the break up of the family unit.

For more than 35 years, in addition to representing clients, Hofstein has been a lecturer and author on family law and ethics.

Dickie, McCamey & Chilcote appointed shareholder Rebecca Maziarz as the chair of the firm's diversity and inclusion committee.

Maziarz takes the reins of Dickie McCamey's existing diversity initiatives, which foster the inclusion and promotion of attorneys and support staff regardless of gender, race, disability, veteran status, national origin or sexual orientation.

She will also work with the committee to develop and direct new efforts to ensure Dickie McCamey best reflects the diverse clients and communities that it serves.

She concentrates her practice in the area of health care law with a particular ­emphasis in medical malpractice litigation and negligence litigation.

Blank Rome was recognized by the city of Philadelphia for its role in the formation of Take Action Philly, an initiative that was launched in February by the Philadelphia Bar Association, the city of Philadelphia and a number of nonprofit legal aid organizations with the goal of uniting lawyers, government, community organizations and residents to protect and assist Philadelphia's most vulnerable residents, focusing first on refugee and immigration policy.
