Blank Rome associate Peter I. Tsoflias was admitted to the Association for Corporate Growth University, an in-depth deal education and networking program that enrolls 40 up-and-coming M&A dealmakers who possess an average of three to five years of deal experience.
At Blank Rome, Tsoflias represents and advises business entity clients—from small startup companies to larger private equity and venture capital funds—in connection with day-to-day corporate and commercial affairs and major transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, joint venture formations and project financings.

White and Williams promoted Gregory Capps to partnership.
Capps was formerly counsel at White and Williams.
He practices in the firm's complex insurance/reinsurance; commercial litigation department.
Capps has a broad commercial litigation and arbitration practice focusing primarily on complex long-tail insurance coverage and reinsurance matters.
His practice involves counseling as well as trial and appellate work before federal and state courts and arbitration panels.

Edward Fisher was promoted to member in Griesing Law's commercial litigation practice group.
Fisher focuses his practice on defending employers in litigation arising out of claims of discrimination, harassment and retaliation, and representing employers in breach of contract, trade secret, noncompete and other business-related disputes.
He earned his law degree from the University of Pennsylvania Law School.

Weber Gallagher Simpson Stapleton Fires & Newby elected Ryan R. McBride to partnership.
McBride, who is based in the firm's Scranton office, defends clients in general liability and professional liability matters.
His clients include individuals, businesses, municipalities and related governmental entities, as well as physicians and other professionals.
McBride has represented his clients in many different types of cases, including professional/malpractice claims, premises liability, civil rights, commercial liability, replevin and auto and dram shop/liquor liability cases.

Makenna E. Porch joined Eckert Seamans Cherin & Mellott as an associate in its Philadelphia office and financial services litigation group.
She focuses her practice on residential and commercial real estate litigation, primarily in the areas of tax lien and mortgage foreclosures.
She represents lenders, financial institutions, and servicers throughout the entirety of the foreclosure process, from commencement through disposition of the action.
Porch has also defended lenders in bankruptcy actions in both the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York.
