A judge ruled that the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania has jurisdiction in an accident case involving a Ryder rental truck.
U.S. District Judge Michael Baylson of the Eastern District of Pennsylvania denied the plaintiffs' motion to remand the case against Ryder to state court.
Baylson in his opinion pointed to the Ryder's contention that it was a Florida corporation and diversity of citizenship applied.
