Anthony J. Sciolla Jr. of Warminster died Jan. 7 at Fox Chase Cancer Center in Philadelphia. He was 67 years old.

Sciolla, who started his career as a city solicitor, practiced various types of law in Jenkintown, according to a release.

He formerly was a longtime partner at Jaffe, Friedman, Schuman, & Applebaum (currently Friedman Schuman) in Jenkintown.

Sciolla was a 40-year member of the Pennsylvania bar, as well as a longtime board member of both the Pennsylvania Association for Justice and Philadelphia Trial Lawyers Association, a release said. He was also a member of the Justinian Society and the Northampton Township Democratic Committee.

He was a graduate of Villanova University and Widener Law School.
