Renardo “Rick” Hicks joined Dilworth Paxson as a partner in the corporate and business department of its Harrisburg office.
With more than 30 years of experience in the legal profession, Hicks has knowledge in a broad range of legal practices including litigation, education and corporate matters.
He has provided legal and consulting services to public utilities, government entities, manufacturers, for-profit and nonprofit corporations, colleges and universities and churches.
Additionally, Hicks has served in a variety of roles including regional vice president and regulatory counsel for XO Communications Inc. and executive deputy attorney general and director of the Public Protection Division within the Pennsylvania Office of Attorney General.
While there, he served as chief deputy attorney general and director of the Bureau of Consumer Protection.
Elected and Appointed
McNees Wallace & Nurick attorney Ann Levin was selected to serve on the International Academy of Collaborative Professionals Practice Group Development Committee.
The Practice Group Development Committee has been charged to engage and build relationships with practice groups from around the world, serve as a resource to practice groups, guide practice groups to better serve their members, increase awareness of IACP support, gather insight from practice group leaders on how the IACP can provide more value to its members and recommend other means of support to practice groups.
Levin has been practicing family law in central Pennsylvania since 1995.
Her practice is focused on helping divorce clients who desire to move beyond the divorce and put their children's needs first.

Tinstman's practice encompasses Allegheny, Beaver, Butler, Lawrence and Westmoreland counties.
Tinstman's practice extends into all areas of matrimonial law that include planning for separation, divorce, custody, relocation, child and spousal support, protection from abuse, guardianship, prenuptial and marriage settlement agreements, equitable distribution and enforcement.
She started her career as a law clerk for Beaver County Judge Peter O. Steege.

• Stefanie L. Burt joined Reed Smith in 2012 and her practice is primarily commercial litigation with a focus on oil and gas law, energy litigation, and environmental litigation and regulatory work.

The case, filed Oct. 2 in Massachusetts District Court by the Brown Law Firm on behalf of Stephen Austen, accuses certain officers and directors of misleading investors in regard to Symbotic's potential for margin growth by failing to disclose that the company was not equipped to timely deploy its systems or manage expenses through project delays. The case, assigned to U.S. District Judge Nathaniel M. Gorton, is 1:24-cv-12522, Austen v. Cohen et al.

The action, filed Oct. 7 in New York Southern District Court by the Brown Law Firm, accuses the company's directors and/or officers of falsely expressing confidence in the company’s restructuring of its sales incentive plan and downplaying the severity of decreases in its upfront commitments. The complaint was filed Sept. 4 in Connecticut District Court by attorney Robert M. Berke on behalf of former employee George Edward Steins, who was arrested and charged with employing an unregistered home improvement salesperson. The complaint alleges that had Sunrun informed the Connecticut Department of Consumer Protection that the plaintiff's employment had ended in 2017 and that he no longer held Sunrun's home improvement contractor license, he would not have been hit with charges, which were dismissed in May 2024. The case, assigned to U.S. District Judge Jeffrey A. Meyer, is 3:24-cv-01423, Steins v. Sunrun, Inc. et al.
