Drinker Biddle & Reath expanded its white-collar defense and corporate investigations team with the addition of Antonio M. Pozos, a former trial attorney with the U.S. Department of Justice Criminal Division, fraud section.
He will reside in the firm's Philadelphia office.
During his time with the DOJ, Pozos prosecuted health systems, health system executives, home health care agency owners, doctors and other health care industry professionals for health care fraud and other major offenses as part of the Medicare fraud strike force and corporate strike force.

Landgraf has more than 30 years of experience handling construction and related real estate contracting, construction litigation and complex commercial and business litigation.

Post & Schell principal James R. Malone Jr. was elected as secretary-treasurer of the Philadelphia Bar Association's tax section for 2018.
The PBA's tax section studies and makes recommendations to appropriate legislative, executive, administrative and judicial authorities with respect to any existing or proposed law, regulation, ruling or procedure relating to federal, state or local taxation.
Malone leads Post & Schell's tax controversy practice and represents clients in disputes with federal, state and local tax authorities in both administrative proceedings and in court.

The League of Women Voters Radnor Township along with the David F. and Constance B. Girard-diCarlo Center for Ethics, Integrity and Compliance are scheduled to host a townhall event featuring Pennsylvania Secretary of Corrections John E. Wetzel who will discuss the past, present and future of criminal justice policy in Pennsylvania.
The event is co-sponsored by the Villanova University Department of Sociology and Criminology.

The case, filed Oct. 2 in Massachusetts District Court by the Brown Law Firm on behalf of Stephen Austen, accuses certain officers and directors of misleading investors in regard to Symbotic's potential for margin growth by failing to disclose that the company was not equipped to timely deploy its systems or manage expenses through project delays. The case, assigned to U.S. District Judge Nathaniel M. Gorton, is 1:24-cv-12522, Austen v. Cohen et al.

The complaint was filed Sept. 4 in Connecticut District Court by attorney Robert M. Berke on behalf of former employee George Edward Steins, who was arrested and charged with employing an unregistered home improvement salesperson. The complaint alleges that had Sunrun informed the Connecticut Department of Consumer Protection that the plaintiff's employment had ended in 2017 and that he no longer held Sunrun's home improvement contractor license, he would not have been hit with charges, which were dismissed in May 2024.
