Elected and Appointed
Saxton & Stump's Brandon R. Conrad was named a shareholder of the firm.
Conrad is a member of the health care law and labor and employment practice groups.
He represents doctors, hospitals and other health care professionals in medical professional liability lawsuits and pre-suit investigations.
He also counsels physician practices on best practices for mitigating risk, avoiding litigation and improving the patient experience.
Conrad also focuses his practice on employment litigation on behalf of employers and insurers with respect to age, race and sex discrimination cases, wage-and-hour class action litigation involving overtime requirements, and Employee Retirement Income Security Act class action litigation.

Stradley Ronon Stevens & Young partner Gregory D. DiMeglio served as a panelist at the American Bar Association's National Institute on Securities Fraud on Jan. 11 in Salt Lake City.
DiMeglio's panel, “Whither the ALJs?,” discussed what might happen if the U.S. Supreme Court weighs in on the issue of whether U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission administrative law judges are constitutionally permissible.
DiMeglio is chair of Stradley Ronon's securities enforcement practice group.
He represents public companies, investment companies, investment advisers, broker-dealers, boards of directors, board committees, auditors, other entities and individuals in connection with examinations, investigations and enforcement actions by the SEC, U.S. Department of Justice, other federal and state regulators and industry self-regulatory organizations.

Fine focuses her national practice on complex products liability and mass tort defense matters, with emphasis in the representation of manufacturers of automobiles and automobile component parts and retail corporations.
She manages all aspects of complex products liability cases from inception to verdict and appeal, and she helps clients develop legal strategies for suits and claims filed against them.
A graduate of the University of Maine School of Law, Fine is a member of the American Bar Association and the Defense Research Institute.

The case, filed Oct. 2 in Massachusetts District Court by the Brown Law Firm on behalf of Stephen Austen, accuses certain officers and directors of misleading investors in regard to Symbotic's potential for margin growth by failing to disclose that the company was not equipped to timely deploy its systems or manage expenses through project delays. The case, assigned to U.S. District Judge Nathaniel M. Gorton, is 1:24-cv-12522, Austen v. Cohen et al.

David X. Sullivan, Thomas J. Finn and Gregory A. Hall from McCarter & English have entered appearances for Sunrun Installation Services in a pending civil rights lawsuit. The complaint was filed Sept. 4 in Connecticut District Court by attorney Robert M. Berke on behalf of former employee George Edward Steins, who was arrested and charged with employing an unregistered home improvement salesperson. The complaint alleges that had Sunrun informed the Connecticut Department of Consumer Protection that the plaintiff's employment had ended in 2017 and that he no longer held Sunrun's home improvement contractor license, he would not have been hit with charges, which were dismissed in May 2024. The case, assigned to U.S. District Judge Jeffrey A. Meyer, is 3:24-cv-01423, Steins v. Sunrun, Inc. et al.
