Prior to joining the firm, he was a co-chair of the wills, trusts and estates department at Capehart & Scatchard located in Mount Laurel, New Jersey.

Elected and Appointed

Wilentz, Goldman & Spitzer's Daniel S. Bernheim III was re-elected as president of the Lower Merion Township Board of Commissioners for another term.

Bernheim is the managing partner of the firm's Philadelphia office and is a member of the firm's management committee.

The focus of his practice is in commercial litigation, representing financial institutions in creditors' rights and consumer finance matters.

In addition, Bernheim has experience in real estate-related litigation, shareholder disputes, professional liability, restrictive covenant and trade secret litigation.

Stradley Ronon Stevens & Young partner Kevin R. Boyle was elected vice president of Philadelphia Futures' board of directors.

Philadelphia Futures is a nonprofit organization created by the merger of Philadelphia Futures and White-Williams Scholars to provide Philadelphia's low-income students with the necessary resources for admission to and success in college.

Boyle, who has served on Philadelphia Futures' board of directors for the past eight years, is a member of Stradley Ronon's board of directors and management committee, and serves as the firm's financial partner.

He concentrates his practice on mergers and acquisitions, financing, real estate, nonprofit and insurance-related matters.

He represents large and small companies, nonprofit and religious organizations, and individuals in business, real estate and banking matters.

Drinker Biddle & Reath elected three new partners to the firm.

Bryan Bloom is a member of both the corporate and securities group and the private client group, and is based in the Florham Park, New Jersey, office.

Bloom is a transactional tax lawyer and family office counselor who assists clients with structuring, operating and disposing of portfolio assets and transitioning the ownership of family assets, goals and legacy.

Chanda A. Miller is a member of the products liability group and is based in the Philadelphia office.

Miller defends major pharmaceutical and medical device companies in multidistrict litigation, coordinated state proceedings, and individual cases involving claims of personal injury, price-fixing claims, alleged false claims act violations and consumer protection claims.

Nolan B. Tully is a member of the insurance litigation group and is based in the Philadelphia office.

He is co-leader of the firm's long-term care insurance team and represents long-term care insurers in all aspects of the product life cycle, from product development to regulatory and compliance matters, to litigation and liquidation matters.
