McNees Wallace & Nurick hired Nicole Fiamingo in the role of legal project management coordinator effective Jan. 2.

As the legal project manager for McNees Wallace, Fiamingo acts as both a facilitator and developer of implementation plans for client-facing projects in close partnership with the firm's attorney and administration teams.

This position will work directly with lawyers as McNees Wallace develop responses to RFPs, price its product and execute on the tasks associated with any particular legal project.

Kash Fedrigon Belanger, a family law firm in Stroudsburg, added two new associates, Kimberly A. Metzger and Chynna Beisel.

Metzger joined the firm after more than five years with the Monroe County District Attorney's Office.

During her tenure as an assistant district attorney, Metzger tried over 25 criminal jury trials and multiple bench trials, ranging from DUI and domestic assaults to homicide and criminal sale of controlled substances.

In addition to trial work, Metzger has handled numerous appellate files ranging from direct appeals to federal habeas proceedings.

Beisel is a 2017 graduate of Widener University Commonwealth Law School in Harrisburg.

Beisel was a legal intern at the Law Office of Michael B. Cohen in Altoona and will be representing clients in family law matters.

Elected and appointed

Barley Snyder's partners have re-elected Jeff Lobach as managing partner for a third two-year term.

Under Lobach's direction, Barley Snyder has added nearly 40 attorneys to its head count, has opened offices in Gettysburg and Harrisburg as well as Hunt Valley, Maryland, and added services specific to food and agribusiness and education.

In another move, Lauralee Baker will take over as chair of the firm's litigation practice group after Paul Minnich decided to step down.

Baker has practiced with the firm since 2011, concentrating on health law litigation.

Barley Snyder also welcomed two new members to its management committee, Scott Landis and Salvatore Anastasi.

Landis, a member of the firm's finance and creditors' rights and intellectual property practice groups, works out of the Lancaster office and also is the chair of Barley Snyder's technology committee.

Anastasi, who works out of the firm's Malvern office, is the chair of its intellectual property practice group.

Meyer, Unkovic & Scott elected Christopher P. Smith Jr. to serve as its managing partner.

The firm has also re-elected Robert E. Dauer Jr. to serve on the management committee for a two-year term.

Smith follows Patti Dodge, who has led the firm for the past six years, as managing partner.

Dodge will continue to serve as a member of the firm's management committee along with W. Grant Scott, Rob Dauer, Chad I. Michaelson and Smith.

Smith regularly represents lenders, borrowers, purchasers, property owners, tenants and sellers in all matters related to real estate, including buying, selling and developing property; commercial and residential lending; property leases; zoning matters; and oil and gas leases.
