Pond Lehocky Stern Giordano partner Jerry M. Lehocky was appointed to the Disciplinary Board of the Pennsylvania Supreme Court for a three-year term commencing on Feb. 1.
Lehocky has been a litigator of workers' compensation and Social Security since being admitted to practice in 1985.
Initially, his practice involved representing employers and insurance companies.
In 1991, Lehocky began representing claimants exclusively in the areas of workers' compensation and Social Security disability.
A former chairman of the Pennsylvania Trial Lawyers Workers' compensation section for 12 consecutive years, Lehocky served as a consultant to several Pennsylvania governors as well as numerous state senators and representatives on workers' compensation issues.

Klasko Immigration Law Partners managing partner H. Ronald Klasko presented at the 11th Global Residence and Citizenship Conference in Hong Kong.
Klasko presented on the E-2 visa, which when paired with the Grenada Citizenship by Investment program, could be a solution for Chinese investors to avoid the 10-year EB-5 backlog.
The conference was hosted by Henley & Partners.
Klasko represents thousands of foreign investors from all around the world, over 50 approved regional centers and numerous U.S. developers and business owners who have sought his counsel in connection with using the EB-5 program to raise capital for investment projects.
Klasko's counsel has included applications to designate new regional centers; applications for pre-approval of projects within regional centers; having projects adopted by existing regional centers; structuring projects to be EB-5 compliant; preparing template I-526 petitions; and advice on successfully marketing EB-5 projects.

Curtin & Heefner's Jordan Yeager is a scheduled speaker at Yale Law School's “Environmental Constitutionalism and the Pennsylvania Experience” discussion on Feb. 26.
Yeager will address his litigation experience in Pennsylvania, including in the landmark Robinson Township case before the Pennsylvania Supreme Court.
Yeager is chair of Curtin & Heefner's environmental law and public sector law sections.
He serves as solicitor and special counsel to municipal governments, with an emphasis on zoning, land use, environmental, appellate and state pre-emption matters.
Yeager represents public and private sector employers and employees in all aspects of labor and employment law, including counseling, negotiations, arbitration, litigation, trials and appeals.

The case, filed Oct. 2 in Massachusetts District Court by the Brown Law Firm on behalf of Stephen Austen, accuses certain officers and directors of misleading investors in regard to Symbotic's potential for margin growth by failing to disclose that the company was not equipped to timely deploy its systems or manage expenses through project delays. The case, assigned to U.S. District Judge Nathaniel M. Gorton, is 1:24-cv-12522, Austen v. Cohen et al.
