As sexual misconduct scandals rock the nation, what are employers, employees and the law going to do about it?
Tonight at 7 p.m. on the Philadelphia CNN-News affiliate WFMZ-TV, “The American Law Journal” presents “Workplace Sexual Harassment in the #MeToo/Weinstein Era.”
Christopher Naughton welcomes employment attorneys Anthony Haller of Blank Rome and Alice W. Ballard of the Law Office of Alice W. Ballard, Mary Tiernan from the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and human resources manager Joey Price of Jumpstart:HR. Former Boies Schiller Flexner attorney Ally Coll Steele, founder of The Purple Campaign, joins the conversation via satellite from Washington, D.C.
In the opening feature report, ALM senior editor Gina Passarella interviews plaintiffs counsel Marc Rapaport of Rapaport Law Firm and corporate counsel Melissa Osipoff of Fisher & Phillips, examining sexual harassment's legal history and questioning the role of human resources in such matters.
“The American Law Journal” is the recent winner of two mid-Atlantic Emmy Awards for 2017.
