Bankruptcy Court clerks within the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit assembled in Philadelphia for a one-day conference on Feb. 23.
Terrence Miller, Michael Rhodes, Una O'Boyle, Jeanne Naughton and host Tim McGrath met at the Robert N.C. Nix Federal Building and Courthouse to address topics specific to bankruptcy administration.
The five clerks subsequently traveled to the Office for the U.S. Trustees to participate in a panel discussion at the Region 3 trustees management meeting to foster greater collaboration and cooperation in the administration of bankruptcy proceedings.
Returning to the courthouse, the clerks met with Third Circuit executive Margaret Wiegand and her staff to discuss circuit and national policy initiatives.
Chief Bankruptcy Judge Eric Frank of the Eastern District of Pennsylvania closed the conference with observations and remarks about administrative challenges faced during his tenure as chief judge.

McNees Wallace & Nurick attorney Schaun Henry is set to present “Record-keeping Requirements for Small Businesses” at the first annual Pennsylvania Manufactured Housing Association Industry Networking Conference starting at 1:45 p.m. on March 14.
Henry practices in the labor and employment group.
He provides representation and counseling to employers on a wide range of labor and employment matters, including employment discrimination cases under Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, the Age Discrimination in Employment Act, the Americans With Disabilities Act, the Family and Medical Leave Act, the Fair Labor Standards Act and other federal, state and local issues.
Henry defends employers against charges of discrimination before the Pennsylvania Human Relations Commission and the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, and in federal and state courts.
Elected and Appointed
John Fiorillo, a partner at Unruh, Turner, Burke & Frees, was elected to serve as treasurer of the Chester County Bar Association.
He was a member of the board of directors for the Chester County Bar Association from 2012 through 2014 and again from 2016 to the present.
Fiorillo also currently serves as a Zone 9 delegate to the Pennsylvania Bar Association House of Delegates.
At Unruh Turner, Fiorillo is the co-chair of the litigation department and chair of the creditor's rights department.
Fiorillo concentrates his practice in commercial litigation and in particular, creditor's rights representing financial institutions, commercial landlords and businesses in various types of disputes.
He also has a practice in real estate tax assessment law.

J. Brugh Lower of Gibbons has entered an appearance for industrial equipment supplier Devco Corporation in a pending trademark infringement lawsuit. The suit, accusing the defendant of selling knock-off Graco products, was filed Dec. 18 in New Jersey District Court by Rivkin Radler on behalf of Graco Inc. and Graco Minnesota. The case, assigned to U.S. District Judge Zahid N. Quraishi, is 3:24-cv-11294, Graco Inc. et al v. Devco Corporation.

The court action, filed Nov. 25 in Michigan Eastern District Court by Hooper Hathaway PC on behalf of The Town Residences LLC, accuses Crown Castle of failing to transfer approximately $30,000 in utility payments from T-Mobile in breach of a roof-top lease and assignment agreement.
